How storage works
Priced by the metre of length, month by month or by the season. See the prices and what we take.
Tell us about your boat
Create an account and add her length, beam and weight, with a photo or two.
See your price and ask
You're quoted straight away by length for each kind of storage. Stay until further notice, for a season, or between dates.
We assign a bay
The office checks what fits and assigns her a bay. Then add your payment information, by card or Direct Debit.
She comes ashore
Bring her by road or we lift her out. You can see her bay on the yard plan from then on.
Every boat has a bay number, a record and a named person in the office who knows her.
Marine services
Repairs are quoted first. Work only starts when you have approved the quote, and you can follow it in your account.
Regular care while she’s stored
Monthly wash
Hull, deck and cockpit washed down so salt and green growth never get a hold.
Battery checks and charging
Voltage checked and batteries topped up so she starts when you need her.
Engine runs
Engine run up to temperature every few weeks through the lay-up.
Winter care
Covers checked after every blow, drains cleared, a look over after storms.
Work on the boat
Antifouling and polishing
Scrub, prep and antifoul; cut and polish topsides.
Engine servicing and repair
Inboard and outboard servicing, impellers, cooling and fuel systems.
GRP and gelcoat repair
Chips, scrapes and osmosis treatment, finished to match.
Painting
Topsides, decks and brightwork.
Lift-out, launch and recovery
By slipway or trailer, with boat movements around the yard.
Winterisation
Engine, water and heads systems laid up properly for the cold months.

Nothing is taken until your start date. Care packages and workshop time are priced separately.
About the yard
Gweek Wollas Boats is an independent yard run by people who work on boats every day. We keep the numbers small enough to know every boat in the yard, and we would rather tell you a job isn’t needed than sell you one that is not.
